Jimmy Eat World - One, Two, Three, Four 7" and Self-Titled (1994)

For the inaugural post, I give you a band's inaugural release(s). The 7" EP is pretty raw, even when compared to the Self-Titled record released the same year, which is more uh... "polished". I usually say this to everyone when the discussion comes up, don't expect a sound even remotely similar to Clarity or anything after, expect fast, sloppy, but endearing pop-punk. Even Static Prevails sounds as if it's a decade removed, instead of just two years. Both the 7" and CD are long out of print (and largely disowned by the band), but if you have the rent money to spend, then both of these aren't hard to find.
